Welcome to SkoolAccess. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of skoolaccess.com and all related services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by IKORE LTD trading as SkoolAccess, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to register for an account. By registering, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

2. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile up to date.
  • You must notify us immediately at info@skoolaccess.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User Roles

Students may browse, book tutors, attend sessions, and access educational content on the Platform.

Tutors may create a profile, list their subjects and fees, accept bookings, and upload educational materials and videos.

Academies may register an institutional account, invite tutors and students, and manage their educational offerings through the Platform.

4. User-Generated Content – Legal Responsibility

Important – Content Responsibility:

You are solely and fully responsible for any and all content you upload, post, share, or otherwise submit to the Platform — including but not limited to videos, documents, study materials, books, images, and messages. By uploading content you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the content or have obtained all necessary rights, licences, and permissions to upload and share it.
  • Your content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, privacy right, or other intellectual property or proprietary right of any third party.
  • Your content does not violate any applicable law or regulation, including but not limited to laws relating to defamation, obscenity, pornography, or hate speech.
  • You will not upload, share, or distribute content that is false, misleading, fraudulent, harmful, or harassing.
  • SkoolAccess bears no legal liability whatsoever for any content uploaded by users. Any legal claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from your uploaded content are your sole responsibility.
  • You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SkoolAccess, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to content you upload or share on the Platform.

We reserve the right — but not the obligation — to review, monitor, reject, remove, or disable access to any content at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms or applicable law.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Upload or share copyrighted material without permission from the rights holder.
  • Share content that is pornographic, violent, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your qualifications.
  • Use the Platform for spam, phishing, or any unauthorized commercial purposes.
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the Platform or its servers.
  • Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Platform without written permission.
  • Use the Platform to facilitate illegal transactions or activities.
  • Circumvent any security features or access controls of the Platform.

6. Bookings and Sessions

  • Bookings are subject to tutor availability and confirmation.
  • SkoolAccess facilitates connections between tutors and students but is not party to the tutoring arrangement itself.
  • Tutors set their own rates. SkoolAccess charges a platform service fee as detailed in Sections 7 and 8 below.
  • Cancellation and refund policies are outlined during the booking process. SkoolAccess reserves the right to update these policies with notice.

7. Tuition Process

The following outlines the end-to-end process for one-to-one tuition arrangements facilitated through the SkoolAccess Platform.

Registration

All Tutors and Students must create and verify a SkoolAccess account before engaging in any tutoring arrangement. Registration constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

Tutor Discovery & Fee Negotiation

Students may search and evaluate Tutors through the Platform's discovery features, including profiles, qualifications, subject listings, and reviews. Upon identifying a suitable Tutor, the Student may initiate direct communication via the Platform's secure messaging system to negotiate and mutually agree upon the session fee and tutoring terms prior to any formal engagement.

Booking Invitation

Once the session fee and terms have been mutually agreed, the Tutor shall issue a formal Booking Invitation to the Student through the Platform. The Booking Invitation shall confirm the agreed service scope, scheduled date and time, and the applicable fee.

Invitation Acceptance & Payment

Upon acceptance of the Booking Invitation by the Student, the full agreed tuition fee shall become immediately payable. All payments are processed exclusively through the Platform's authorised payment channels — including credit/debit card and Stripe — and are transferred directly to the UK-registered bank account held in the name of IKORE LTD (trading as SkoolAccess). Funds are held in trust pending completion of the session and resolution of any disputes.

Student-Initiated Tuition Request Alternative Path

As an alternative to the Booking Invitation flow, Students may submit a Tuition Request on the Platform, specifying the required subject, level, preferred schedule, and budget parameters. Registered Tutors may review open Tuition Requests and submit competitive bids detailing their proposed fee and availability. The Student retains full discretion to accept, shortlist, or decline any bid received, without obligation.

Platform Service Fee & Disbursement

SkoolAccess shall deduct a platform service fee of twenty per cent (20%) from the total agreed tuition fee. The remaining eighty per cent (80%) shall be credited to the Tutor's Platform Wallet following a mandatory holding period of thirty-five (35) calendar days from the confirmed session date. Disbursement is contingent upon the absence of any active disputes, chargebacks, or regulatory holds during the holding period.

Tutor Wallet & Withdrawal

Once funds are credited to the Tutor's Platform Wallet, the Tutor may initiate a withdrawal at any time to any eligible bank account or payment method registered by the Tutor in their Payment Settings on the Platform. Withdrawal processing times are subject to the selected payment method and any applicable banking clearance periods.

Universal Application of Service Fee

The SkoolAccess platform service fee of twenty per cent (20%) applies universally to every tuition fee agreed and transacted through the Platform, without exception. By using the Platform, both Tutors and Students expressly acknowledge and accept this fee structure.

8. Training Process

The following outlines the end-to-end process for group or one-to-one Training sessions facilitated through the SkoolAccess Platform.

Registration

All Trainers, Tutors, and Students must create and verify a SkoolAccess account before creating or enrolling in any Training session. Registration constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

Training Session Creation

A registered Tutor or Trainer may create a Training session on the Platform, specifying the session fee, scheduled date and time, maximum participant capacity, subject matter, and any prerequisites or session-specific requirements. Published Training sessions shall be visible to all eligible Platform users.

Enrollment & Communication

Students or fellow Tutors wishing to attend a Training session may submit an enrollment request through the Platform. Prospective participants may additionally initiate communication with the Trainer via the Platform's secure messaging system to confirm attendance requirements, discuss session content, or raise any pre-enrollment queries.

Enrollment Acceptance & Payment Request

Upon review of the enrollment request, the Trainer may accept the applicant and issue a formal payment request through the Platform. Acceptance of enrollment by the Trainer does not constitute confirmation of participation until full payment has been received and verified by the Platform.

Payment Confirmation & Meeting Access

Upon successful completion of the required payment, the "Join Meeting" button shall become accessible to the participant within their Bookings section on the Platform. This confirms the participant's verified place in the Training session and enables direct access to the scheduled virtual meeting environment at the designated session time.

Payment Processing

All Training fees are processed exclusively through the Platform's authorised payment channels — including credit/debit card and Stripe — and are transferred directly to the UK-registered bank account held in the name of IKORE LTD (trading as SkoolAccess). Funds are held in trust pending completion of the Training session and resolution of any disputes.

Platform Service Fee & Disbursement

SkoolAccess shall deduct a platform service fee of twenty per cent (20%) from the total agreed Training fee. The remaining eighty per cent (80%) shall be credited to the Trainer's Platform Wallet within seven (7) calendar days of the confirmed conclusion of the Training session. Disbursement is contingent upon the absence of any active disputes, chargebacks, or regulatory holds at the time of processing.

Trainer Wallet & Withdrawal

Once funds are credited to the Trainer's Platform Wallet, the Trainer may initiate a withdrawal at any time to any eligible bank account or payment method registered in their Payment Settings on the Platform. Withdrawal processing times are subject to the selected payment method and any applicable banking clearance periods.

Universal Application of Service Fee

The SkoolAccess platform service fee of twenty per cent (20%) applies universally to every Training fee agreed and transacted through the Platform, without exception. By using the Platform, all Trainers, Tutors, and Students expressly acknowledge and accept this fee structure.

9. Intellectual Property

The SkoolAccess name, logo, website design, and platform software are the exclusive property of SkoolAccess and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

By uploading content to the Platform you grant SkoolAccess a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and promote that content solely for the purpose of operating and marketing the Platform.

10. YouTube API Services

The Platform integrates YouTube API Services for video uploads. Use of this feature is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that any video you upload through the Platform complies with YouTube's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SkoolAccess and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

SkoolAccess's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to SkoolAccess in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including content responsibility, intellectual property, and limitation of liability clauses) will survive.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform following any change constitutes your acceptance. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. IKORE LTD is a company registered in England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
